APPlab is an innovation initiative established by Aarhus University Hospital. At APPlab we develop prototypes for mobile applications in collaboration with clinicians. Using prototypes we help clinicians better understand what they need from a mobile application in their daily work and together we identify the advantages and disadvantages of different application concepts in a clinical practice. In my time at APPlab I have been involved in numerous activities, including: - Working as an intermediary between clinicians, students and companies - Conducting empirical studies - Organising and facilitating workshops - Developing IT concepts that solves challenges in a clinical environment - Creating both low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes - Designing and testing user interfaces for mobile applications and information dashboards
