As CTO of Klaay, I will be driving the technical and product roadmap to ensure that we break into the market. I'm also responsible for a small but growing team of developers and other technical staff, where my main goal is to create a safe and productive environment where there are clear goals and objectives to help everyone do their best work. Klaay is building the leading, cutting edge compliance platform ensuring that becoming and staying compliant is easy. We use AI first in our products to reduce as much as possible of the trivial and boring parts of the process.

Working together with a great team of Project Managers, Salespeople, Designers, Software Engineers, Cryptographers, and senior management, I have built up and headed up the Pre-sales Solution Engineering function. Achievements: 📈 - Introduced and heading up the Project Owner group, where we plan and evaluate business opportunities together with other, central people in the business. 🏫 - Participated in several, successful, high level tenders, building out the solutions using our Electa and VoteHub Products to navigate high-level, international organizational requirements. 🇺🇸 - Project managed and build out the design for our VoteHub project supporting the legally and compliance-wise complex US market.

With a strong team of cryptographers, UX designers, Software Engineers, I work with customers, legislators, and special interest groups to build scalable, flexible, and resilient software solutions that prompte and support democracy and the democratic process and mindset. I navigate an exciting cross section between business, politics, legislation, and software designing and securing new and existing products to fit the needs of democracy tomorrow and into the future.

At Systems Engineering, we want to stand on three legs, SEC/methods, SEC/services, and SEC/software based on the Systems Engineering Concept®. This allows us to create a common language between all different actors when designing large civil engineering and software projects. Reporting directly to the CEO, I oversee and run the SEC/Software part of the business. I work in the cross-fire between Systems Engineering Concept and cloud-native software; between business and development. Between engineering and marketing. I plan, execute, and am responsible for our technical roadmap, budget, planning, and execution. Painting with broad strokes and the big brush, I also discuss the fine details of asynchronous messaging and large data processing with the software engineers when necessary.

As the Product Owner and Lead Engineer, I lead a team of software engineers producing a distributed, large-scale SaaS product for civil engineering. Reporting directly to the CTO and CEO, I'm responsible and manage several budgets for various parts of the product, as well as being ultimately responsible for the hiring process into the developer team. The development team is 15 people strong and we run an adaptation of various agile methodologies in a configuration that suits us, the company and the product most optimally. We strive for a distributed micro service. architecture, where we can develop, deploy, and scale individual parts of the mesh independently as needed. The code is written in Ruby, Rails, VueJs, ReactNative, React, Neo4j, PostgreSQL, and a wide range of other tools deployed via Jenkins to a variety of AWS products.

At YouWe I'm the primary architect of a multi-platform and multi-channel integration software service that allows e-commerce companies to sell and manage their products and orders on their favorite platform, and then synchronize it to multiple other platforms. This includes everything from UI/UX frontend work and design, various APIs, service orientated dev-ops architecture through to managing a team of engineers towards this goal.

I'm heading up the UI/UX for something that really matters. Privacy. We're building a unique and novel approach on Know Your Customer (KYC), which hopefully revolutionizes the industry and every other industry that needs to know it's customers.

At Inpay I have been responsible and the technical lead on upgrading and maintaining the entire infrastructure and code base facing the Banking infrastructure. This means mentoring Junior developers as well as code quality and architecture design. With the integration of major players such as HomeSend and CIMB, I have delivered scalable, redundant and production grade code that operates in complex, financial collaboration with the rest of Inpay's platform as well as other services. This has been using everything from Java 8, across Perl, Ruby, and SWIFT in order to use the best tool for the job. I have also been responsible for upgrading Inpay's current Core API to a more secure and faster solution. Aside from the APIs and more corporate integrations, I have also been responsible for designing, developing and delivering several large scale internal products, requiring integration with multiple other services. This all means that I have been working on: * Upgrading old ruby 1.8.7 red-field projects * Designing, developing and delivering complex Ruby on Rails applications * Upgrading and designing new Rack and Sinatra applications * Perl and Java scripting * Grape and other concurrent and multi threadded APIs. * Integrating with the SWIFT network * Integrating with major, global APIs

At Autobutler I ended as the Technical lead of a group of six developers, delivering production grade, scalable API integrations with major players such as eBay. This included both designing, developing and delivering brand new APIs, upgrading and maintaining old ones. As well as mentoring Junior developers, planning work for the team and qualifying new hires. It also included developing customer facing front-end applications using MVM frameworks such as Angular, as well as MVC such as Rub on Rails. I also used jRuby and Grape, as well as Goliath to deliver high load, scalable JSON and XML APIs to our partners and consumers.

I was in charge of migrating the entire search service and related systems from Google Search Appliances (gsa) to Apache Solr (solr). The existing application is wast, with mutiple, complex funcionality. Currently gsa was highly entangled and integrated into feature functionality, so a main concern was to develop the new search structure more loosly coupled and testable. This will also allow a higher degree of scalability and maintenance in the future. Tecknologies involved: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Solr, Java, Apache web server, Postgres, Unit testing and functional testing.

As freelance developer for Milestone Selling I have been charged with developing through the whole rails stack, from backend statistics and business logic to frontend design and backbone application. Primarily I solve the hard refactoring problems, and develop business critical calculations that I'm then responsible for exposing through the versioned API that the front-end and iPad application uses to deliver lightning fast sales-progress results to our customers. I'm also the principle driving force behind implementing an agressive, smart and effective varnish / rack cache to the api, for even faster results.
