Me in a few sentences I am methodical and rigorous in my work. I strongly believe that every activity/work should be done seriously and in the proper way. I have excellent interpersonal skills, I am a good communicator and I value integrity highly. I am reliable and dependable; I take very seriously commitments, objectives, and their timely achievement. I am a critical thinker; I believe I have strong analytical skills and that I can evaluate consciously and politely other people’s work and ideas. GENERAL INFORMATION I have recently completed my PhD at the University of Aberdeen, department of Divinity and Religious Studies, under the supervision of Professor Philip. Ziegler. I have been working for the last three years on the research project “Normativity: Nature, Narrative and Nihilism” as a full-time research student thanks to a scholarship that the University of Aberdeen has awarded me. I submitted my thesis on September 15, and successfully defended my thesis at the viva on November 23, 2016. I am currently working toward the publication of a series of articles on Croce's historicism and its relevance for contemporary politics and ethics. I am also developing my thesis to publish a book within the end of 2017.

I worked as a Tutor for the Department of Philosophy for the 2nd level ethics course: “Life, Death and Meaning”, PH2529. I was responsible of tutorials, preparation of academic material as well as for marking and checking mid-term essays written by the students. In addition, I also had the chance to teach the last four lectures of the course and to prepare the revision lecture before the final exam. I was also responsible for the preparation of the lecture material and for academic and pastoral support for the students. Thanks to my work, the Aberdeen University Student Association nominated me for the Teaching Excellency Award 2016, for the category “Best Support Staff”.
