I worked as an IA for the class EECS 281, a programming class centered on data structures and algorithms in C++. I ran office hours, answered questions on an online forum, and helped formulate and proctor exams. I ran weekly labs for 15-30 students. With upwards of 900 students taking the course each semester we learned on our feet how to manage time and aid every student.

I was in charge of handling food orders, employee interviews, and providing leadership to new employees. Due to a transitioning period, Bert's did not have any leadership higher than Student Managers during the Winter 2019 semester. The other 4 Student Managers and I were in charge of 30-40 employees and maintained, supported, and ran the Café from January 2019 until October 2020.

At Uber, I worked with the Customer Identity Platform team on improving the user sign-in experience. Using the frontend framework React/Redux and tools such as Git and Phabricator, I worked on designing a QR code scanner that can authenticate a user's device through another authenticated session. The most common use case is for a mobile device that is logged into the app that scans the QR code to log in via desktop, similar to WhatsApp's QR scanner at web.whatsapp.com. This effort was part of a larger project on the CIP team called USL(Universal Sign Up Login) that has the potential to improve user's onboarding rate by 6%. Special shout out to my teammates Bob and Michael, my mentor Shreedhar, and my manager David for a great learning experience!

As a side hobby, I was a Freelance Web Developer on Upwork, focusing on front end development. My goal was to communicate well with clients to make sure they receive their desired product and to bring their vision to life. I primarily use HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript for artistic designs.

At Dynics I worked on a full-stack application with a Senior developer while following standard git procedure to update code. When I first opened the project, it included 6 new markup/programming languages and two different frameworks I had never used. In 2 months, I taught myself parts of HTML, CSS, C#, SQL, Javascript/Typescript, JQuery, ASP.NET, and Angular in order to contribute. I loved learning new concepts on my own.
