Erasmus Teaching Mobility Ilia State University, Tbilisi (Georgia) A 16-hour cycle of lectures entitled: "Cover crop adoption for sustainable agricultural systems" in the teaching staff mobility of the Erasmus program key Action 1, at the School of Natural Sciences and Engineering, Ilia State University. The topics dealt with concerned the use and management of cover crops for the realization of sustainable agricultural systems with particular reference to the management of weeds and nitrogen fertilization with the possibility of reducing the emission of greenhouse gases.

Erasmus Teaching Mobility Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV), Valencia (Spain) Development of a cycle of lessons for the duration of 8 hours entitled: "Sustinable herbaceous cropping systems in the Mediterranean area" in the framework of the International Seminars in Life Sciences II (6 ECTS) at the Escuela Técnica Superior of Agricultural Engineering and the Middle Natural (ETSIAMN), Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV). The topics addressed involved the sustainable management of agricultural crops with particular reference to the use of cover crops, weed management and nitrogen fertilization with the possibility of reducing the emission of greenhouse gases.

Teaching as a adjunct professor at the Department for Innovation in Biological, Agri-food and Forestry Systems (DIBAF) of the University of Tuscia for the academic year 2015/2016 for the teaching of the discipline of "Agricultural Systems – Herbaceous Cropping Systems module ", 5 CFU (40 hours), AGR / 02, compulsory education for the degree course in Planning and Design of Agricultural Landscape (PPPA).

Winner of a post-doc scholarship founded by the EU-project HUMERIA (HUManities, Education, Research, International relations and Arts) as part of the ERASMUS MUNDUS program for a research project entitled "Agro-Ecosystem Functioning: An Ecological Approach to Support Sustainable Agricultural Activities" for a period of 6 months to be performed at the Ilia State University - School of Natural Sciences and Engineering (Tblisi, Georgia).

Introduction to forest and natural resources sciences and management Ilia State University, Tbilisi (Georgia) 20-hour lectures in the course of "Introduction to Forest and Natural Resources Sciences and Management" as part of the degree course "Ecology - Natural and Forest Resources & Biodiversity". The topics addressed involved aspects of agronomic management of agricultural crops (crop rotation, choice of cultivar, soil processing, management of fertilization, irrigation and adversity) with particular reference to management practices in organic farming.

Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Warsaw (Poland) Teaching course entitled "Application of some agronomic practices for weed control in organic and sustainable agriculture" as part of the summer course entitled "Organic Food Production Chain" carried out at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

Thesis: ECOLOGICAL WEED MANAGEMENT Award granted in compliance with the four conditions indicated below, established by the Confederation of Rectors' Conferences of EU Countries and acknowledged by the European University Association (EUA): 1. Positive judgment on the thesis work granted by at least two referees appointed by the Faculty Board, belonging to university institutions of two EU Member States other than the one where the doctorate is sustained; 2. Presence in the Commission of at least one member coming from a university institution of the European Union; 3. A part of the discussion of the thesis supported in a European Union language other than the national one; 4. Technische Universität München (TUM), Freising (Germania) Winner of a scholarship funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for conducting a research project entitled "ECOLOGICAL WEED MANAGEMENT" for a period of 2 months to be performed at the Technische Universität München (Germany) under the supervision of Professor Urs Schmidhalter and Dr. Peter Jorg Baresel. Development of research and analysis methodologies on weeds on spring-summer cultures (Corn and Potato) at companies managed under conventional and organic farming.

Erasmus Intensive Programme - Summer Programme: "AGRONOMIC, ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIOECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY UNDER ORGANIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS" University of Ege, Izmir (Turchia) Improving the knowledge about history and the basic principles for the realization of agricultural systems based on organic farming. Deepening of agro-ecological concepts related to organic farming. Deepening on agronomic management (soil processing, management of fertilization, irrigation and weed control) under organic management. Use of organic products in agriculture based on composting. Quality and marketing of products with organic certification.
