Antamina Mine is one of the largest copper/zinc mines in the world. It is an open pit mine which has an estimated life of mine at 15 years. It also produces Molybdenum. It produced 390,800 tons of copper concentrate in 2006 and 461,000 tons in 2013. The total capital expenditure of the mine by 2013 was USD 2.3 billion. • Implementation Dispatch 6. We achieved a technological change throughout the operation with an investment of 10.5 million which meant the complete implementation of a new FMS in all the mine equipment. (D6, PV3 and Minecare 2). • We achieved optimization and mining plan compliance using dispatch linear programming also monitoring and training of dispatchers. • Team Payload, we increased the target of payload from 297 tons to 315 tons for KOM930 trucks using dispatch system, scale and training and Komatsu rule 10/20/20. • Virtual shift change: Implementation of projects to restart mine operation – COVID 19. • Leader of the technological project 300 GPM in station service to truck. • Increasing the number of gallons of refueling, we started with 720 gallons and managed to refuel 1000 gallons in each refueling. (Changing algorithms in dispatch). • Fuel project: increasing 12 hours/day of truck time production, reducing the delay in fuel station. • Increasing truck utilization in 2%, changing rooster and training new people. • Reducing delays in primary crusher using the right algorithms for each shovel at the time of change shift. • Real time report to Antamina CEO and managers, using different mine operation systems. • Implementation of fuel management system with logistic and operations mine. • Implementation of ACC (Antamina cost report) with finance area and operations mine.

Cerro Verde represents one of the largest copper reserves in Peru and in the world having estimated reserves of 4.63 billion tonnes of ore grading 0.4% copper and 113.2 million oz of silver. • Payload project, we increased the target of payload from 230 to 240 tons for 793D trucks using VIMS systems and scale reducing variability and a correct weight distribution training. • Increasing truck availability in 3% using lean manufacturing methodology (changing truck wash time). • Increase tire life from 5000 hours to 7000 hours using total control tire software with a correct tire rotation and a daily control during the fueling. • Mine to mill project, reducing the fragmentation in blasting process in order to have P80 value according to mill expectations. • Implementation TTC (Total tire control) and Transcale software (Truck weighing equipment) in maintenance and mine operation. • Implementation Split Engineering - Rock fragmentation size image analysis software in crushing area and Toothmetrics systems.
