Led release and configuration management efforts for the Department of Labor’s New Core Financial Management System (NCFMS), supporting system enhancements, maintenance, and operational efficiency. I managed end-to-end release execution, ensuring compliance with federal security standards and facilitating coordination across cross-functional teams. I created SOPs, release playbooks, and configuration management plans, and played a key role in facilitating Technical Review Boards and Configuration Control Boards. My contributions helped the department consistently pass audits. I also led the successful upgrade of MarkView 10.4, delivering a defect-free deployment recognized at senior level.

Department of Labor, Office of OCFO, Business Analyst & Configuration Manager Oversaw full system development lifecycle activities across various initiatives, from requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. Led conference room pilot (CRP) sessions, developed comprehensive test plans, including automated and regression testing and translated complex business needs into clear development tasks. Maintained detailed SOPs and user documentation, while collaborating closely with internal teams and SMEs. Recognized with the Silver Award for Unflinching Courage for successfully leading a major MarkView upgrade as the primary analyst and SME, despite limited initial platform experience.

Administered and supported enterprise financial platforms such as Dynamics AX, Softrax, and NetSuite, ensuring their performance and compliance. I improved financial reporting, liaised between finance and tech teams, managed ticketing systems, and implemented updates that enhanced security and internal controls during audits.

Led cross-functional projects focused on enhancing financial systems to meet business objectives and timeline commitments. Gathered and translated business requirements into technical solutions, supporting platforms such as Oracle EBS & GRC, Hyperion, Intacct, and SharePoint. Conducted quarterly Segregation of Duties (SOD) reviews and performed Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) ITGC testing for internal and external audits, ensuring strong access controls and compliance. Played a key role in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and supported the implementation and maintenance of SharePoint sites to streamline collaboration.
