On a consulting basis, I read and review grant proposals, evaluating strengths and weaknesses, analyzing project budgets, and thoughtfully reflecting upon potential outcomes and impact. I provide the foundation with a summary of my insights and recommend each project either for approval, further questions, re-submission, or denial.

At Search and Care I offered fundraising guidance and managed a portfolio of 50+, foundation, community, and faith-based funders. I also managed Search and Care's social media presence and oversaw the organization's digital and print communications content and calendar.

As an AmeriCorps VISTA I coordinated a mentoring program for children of prisoners. I was responsible for volunteer recruitment and management, community outreach, prisoner outreach and fundraising.

As the Development Assistant at CUMAC, I assisted in all aspects of fundraising, branding and communications. I researched grant opportunities and wrote grants, assisted in planning and marketing events, and managed seasonal projects including a school supply drive and holiday "Wish List" program. Since I began working at the organization, I also became responsible for developing a new website and growing our social media presence. At our Tutoring and Literacy Center, I managed grants, volunteers and interns, developed and implemented lesson plans, and built and managed partnerships with community based organizations and services. During program time, I helped around 20 students after school with homework, social skills, basic skills improvement and English as a Second Language.

* Working with program staff across five departments, 3 boroughs, and seven counties, finance staff, and senior management to maintain and grow a $3 Million private funding portfolio and advance the mission of the organization, I: * Conducted research on funding opportunities, philanthropic trends, best practices for service providers, community needs, and effective program models * Developed and wrote grant renewals, letters of interest, and new grants * Maintained and developed positive relationships with key foundation and corporate contacts * Assisted in oversight of grant contract compliance * Supported strategic project planning, program outcome evaluation, and project sustainability * Participated in drafting the case statement for the agency's upcoming Centennial Campaign.
