About
I am an international studies graduate from the University of Mississippi. During my undergraduate studies, I focused on politics and government. My research interests include U.S.-China-Mexico trade relations and China’s international engagement. My undergraduate thesis examined Chinese nearshoring in Mexico, which reflects my broader interest in international business and development. In 2024–2025, I spent a gap year in Xiangxi, Hunan, immersing myself in rural China to better understand local work culture, lifestyle, and professional etiquette. This experience deepened my perspective on cross-cultural collaboration and strengthened my commitment to building bridges between the United States, Latin America, and China. I am Fluent in Spanish and English, with working proficiency in Mandarin, I aim to pursue a career at the intersection of global business, international development, and education, fostering opportunities for greater connectivity and collaboration across regions.

English Conversation Partner
Intensive English Program at the University of Mississippi
Oxford, Mississippi, United States
Being a conversation partner for the Intensive English Program at the University of Mississippi was one of the most rewarding parts of my college experience. As a non-native English speaker, I understood the challenges of learning a new language and wanted to help international students build confidence and feel welcomed. What started as Zoom conversations during my freshman year turned into an in-person opportunity after I took the initiative to bring conversation partners into the classroom. This helped bridge the gap between international and American students, creating a space where everyone could connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. Not only did students improve their English skills, but they also experienced meaningful cultural exchange—meeting people from all walks of life and broadening their global perspective

ESL Tutor at Della Davidson Elementary School
Oxford, Mississippi, United States
I work with mainly Spanish and Mandarin-speaking students. Through different learning methods like drawing, games, and language exchange, I help elementary students learn common English phrases and English vocabulary. These phrases and vocabulary are useful for their daily lives and better communication in an English-speaking environment. In my time working with them, they have developed confidence in themselves, and I am happy to see them using new phrases learned during our tutoring time.
