I have had an opportunity of being involved in various special nature advisory engagements, statutory audits / reviews and validation. This exposure to a wide spectrum of clients with a variety of work experience has provided me with an in-depth view of the key business processes, risk management procedures, accounting and internal control systems, corporate governance and regulatory as well as accounting framework for a range of industries. My job Responsibilities & Key Deliverables can be categories in function as follows: • plan effective auditing processes • Audit financial statements and assess accounts for accuracy and regulatory compliance and International financial reporting (IFRS) • Monitor and oversee the auditing process from start to finish •Inspect internal systems and controls •Report systematic errors or fraud indicators •prepare income tax and zakat returns •prepare responses to tax and zakat enquiries • Supervise the auditing team and bookkeeping team

 Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial plan, stock control , /tax planning and assets’ management  Support the decision-making process by providing meaningful ad-hoc analysis and by providing the financial perspective on all commercial decisions.  Ensure optimal utilization of funds and effective cash flow management.  Drive and control the budgeting process ensuring that the approved budget is effectively used as the yardstick for measuring business performance.  Supervise the accounting and finance team, ensure the team is geared towards providing the necessary support.  Supervise all business contracts vis-à-vis their commercial terms.  Closely monitor working capital by following-up on collections, timely payment of supplier liabilities and ensuring stocks are maintained at healthy levels.  Oversee timely processing and control of employees’ payroll and accurate monthly provisioning of employee’s benefits.  Ensure effective internal controls are in place; implement and enforce compliance with policies and procedures.  Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including compliance with local Financial Reporting Standards, and the regulations of the Ministry of Commerce, and zakat regulations.  Ensure smooth and timely completion of external and internal audits resolving all audit issues.  Timely submission of Tax returns, responding to all related queries and following up on Tax assessments.  Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
