Essential Functions: - Actively plan, organize, align, and lead resources both internal and external, in a cost-effective manner to win and execute against project schedule. - Mentor and guide Project Solutions Engineers in project development and yearly goal development - Maintain and develop effective relationship with customers both pre- and post-sales. - Develop project schedules and track project progress against milestones while ensuring timely communications to customers, project specialist engineers, and internal stakeholders. - Manage all OEM project documentation through the lifecycle including providing all details on documentation to either. - Manage the Cognex ECO process for custom customer solutions ensuring compliance and accuracy of the data and information. - Communicate regularly with customers in a design cycle to move project from feasibility to product launch facilitating purchase and production of required technology to meet milestones. - Collect and control technical requirements and documents from the customer. - Partner with Operations resources including business unit, strategic sourcing, manufacturing engineering, test development, NPI production, and distribution to insure on time milestone schedules and deliverables for multiple OEM projects and programs.

Description: Product Promotion Engineer is the designer and creator of demo and sample applications to help providing a consistent product messaging throughout the lifetime of a product. Verifying the “demo kit” of a newly introduced product to updating when new firmware has been published, attending tradeshows and demos, creating exhibits and training material, creating knowledgebase articles against this product and ensuring the right download content is presented to the customers. This is a cross-European position. Essential Functions: Work with Technical Product Promotion Management and perform the following tasks: - Design, implementation, training and documentation of Sales demos. - Design, implementation, training and documentation of technical demos. - Design, implementation, training and documentation of tradeshow exhibits. - Work with partners and suppliers for joined exhibits. - Train sales people on showing exhibits. - Work on content generation and delivering webinars, workshops and customer downloads. - Review of data sheets. - Organize trainings of sales and technical staff in coordination with sales and product training. - Define and maintain keywords for applications and industries. - Review application stories for technical content. - Organize and maintain European demo database, create re-usable modules.

Essential Functions: - Provides industrial machine vision application feasibilities and fast tracks as necessary. - Using advanced optics, image sensors, and artificial intelligence software Cognex vision and ID systems capture an image, then analyze it to make sense of what’s being seen. - Conducts demonstrations and online trials of products at customer sites, trade shows, seminars, and events. - Troubleshoots issues at customers and provides resolutions to problems. - Completes evaluation reports in a timely and complete manner while recommending a solution that fits within the constraints of the application. - Provides expertise in the integration of Cognex products with devices such as PLCs, PCs, or Controllers. - Develops a broad technical knowledge of Cognex’s vision and sensor product families. - Provides customer and sales engineer training when required. - Provides product feedback to AE Manager and Product Business Units to improve products. - Provides sales intelligence to sales when communicating with or visiting customers to help Cognex win. - Maintain and continuously update project information in CRM.
