- Drafting, analysis and negotiation of framework agreements, off shore and on shore international contracts ( (including projects and purchases of any kind) and various legal acts in collaboration with operations and lawyers from subsidiaries located in Africa, South America and the Middle East, - Advice and assistance in commercial law (English common law, French civil law, OHADA…), - Ensure compliance with the procedures and practices within the Perenco Group subsidiaries, - First line responsibility for Gabon and Democratic Republic of Congo, support for other subsidiaries - Prevent and manage pre-litigation and litigation issues that may arise, - Monitoring of new developments in laws, regulations and case law developments in countries where Perenco is present, - Prepare and conduct training modules for operations in Perenco subsidiaries in order to spread legal culture through Perenco entities. As part of the creation of the Contracts Department: - Inventoried and reviewed all existing legal documents (contract, terms and conditions, procedures etc…), - Identifying the needs of Perenco departments and subsidiaries for contractual matters (letters, legal documents, templates…), - Implementation of legal templates previously identified for the homogenization of contract documents used in the Group subsidiaries – some of them based on LOGIC and FIDIC basis, - Drafting and implementation of appropriate procedures for the good performance of the Department (archiving, contract approval, Contract Department referral…).

Projects: construction/extension of processing plants/uranium mines (France/Niger/Canada/ Namibia/Kazakhstan):  - adviser for all legal matters all along the various projects phases, - drafting, analysis and negotiation of engineering, procurement, construction and management contracts, turnkey contracts as well as all subcontracts with suppliers (civil works, equipment etc..),  -  in charge of pre litigation/ litigation matters during the performance of these subcontracts.  Specific example: responsible of all legal issues for the construction of an uranium mine in Niger for an amount of one billion euros.  Others activities:  - Coordination of legal issues for subsidiaries in North America, Kazakhstan, Namibia, Niger related to purchasing contracts, - Uranium sale contracts primarily in Asia (Japan, etc),  - In charge of all legal issues for a Canadian subsidiary (gold mines with overseas assets),- In charge of ‘societal’ contracts, - Implementation of the legal policies and group practices within subsidiaries, - Involved in approval process for all investments contracts above 400 000 euros, - In-house training in French and in English: contracts law introduction and explanation of contracts clauses, , practical case studies….

Project: in charge of all the contracting related to the construction of an uranium enrichment plant in France (750 million euros investment).  Responsible of national and international purchasing contracts for the COGEMA Group (drafting, analysis, negotiation, etc), including the revision of T&C's of the Group, implementation of a library clauses…, In charge of industrial property aspects (drafting and analysis of R&D contracts, licensing agreements…), NTIC, … Responsible for real-estate law (business leases, industrial sites and land acquisitions as well as asset sale contracts)  Responsible of sales contracts of the Uranium Processing Business Unit, Adviser for the Group concerning all questions relating to commercial law, In charge of litigations related to supplier contracts.
