Nathan Ellsworth
Manager, Operations Industrial Training and Education @ Gallo Glass Company
About
I build people the same way others build systems: intentionally, sustainably, and with results that actually hold up under pressure.I’m an operations and industrial training leader in advanced manufacturing, currently at Gallo Glass, where I get to combine strategy, safety, leadership development, and hands-on execution—all in an environment where mistakes are expensive and excellence is non‑negotiable. My job lives at the intersection of training, operations, and culture, and I love that space. Before manufacturing, I spent over two decades in the U.S. Navy, where I learned a few timeless lessons:Leadership isn’t about rank—it’s about trust.Training only matters if it works at 2 a.m. when things go sideways. And no plan survives first contact… unless your people are prepared. Those lessons still drive how I lead today.I’m a PMP-certified, OSHA-credentialed, data‑minded servant leader with a bias for action and a deep respect for the people doing the work. I believe training should be practical, measurable, and relevant—not death by PowerPoint. If learners can’t apply it tomorrow, we didn’t do our job today. You’ll see me posting about:Building high-performing training teamsDeveloping leaders at every levelManufacturing excellence and safetyChoosing people over process (while still respecting the process)And occasionally reminding everyone that culture beats strategy when strategy forgets peopleOutside of work, I’m focused on being the best dad I can be, staying involved in my community, and continuing to learn—because good leaders stay curious. If you’re passionate about training that actually moves the needle, leadership that scales, or manufacturing environments where people are set up to win, we’ll probably get along just fine.Let’s connect.
