Taught three hour-long discussion sections each week as a subset of the General Chemistry 2 course. These discussions were focused on working through problems to assure familiarity with the methods covered in lecture. Answered any questions students had about any of the material covered in the lectures or laboratory sections of the course. Held office hours (outside of the requirements of the position) to help students outside of the discussion setting, which many students took advantage of and found very helpful.

Responsible for accompanying an emergency department physician at all times during his/her shift and updating the EMR for all patients seen by the physician during the shift. This includes writing a complete HPI, documenting the review of symptoms and physical exam findings, taking note of any medical history discussed with the patient, and documenting all rechecks with the patient during their time in the ED. Prompt the physician with test results as they are completed for each patient.

Responsible for organizing all music used by the university's concert bands, jazz bands, and pep band. This included assembling all folders used by the musicians throughout the year and updating them as needed. Helped update and maintain a Microsoft Access database of all concert band pieces owned by the university.

Co-manager of PhysAssist's 80-person Milwaukee area team, which provides 24/7 scribe coverage for three emergency departments in the metro area. This includes coordinating effective communication among the scribe team, physician group, and PhysAssist's corporate office. Responsible for both day-to-day and long-term tasks such as training of new scribes, quality control and performance optimization, schedule maintenance, and conflict resolution. Successfully implemented an improved training management form as well as a comprehensive site-specific documentation guide for new scribes that helped improve the team's onboarding metrics. Worked with members of the Client Services department to modify the company-wide quarterly evaluation form to help provide more constructive feedback to all PhysAssist employees.

Perform the day-to-day administrative activities of the clinical research trials program in the Department of Ophthalmology. Recruit, screen, enroll, and coordinate protocol visits for research program participants. Perform administrative tasks necessary for conduct of research studies, including preparation of IRB submissions, basic financial accounting, and maintenance of all study records.
