I taught English, math, science, and social studies to 6- and 7-year-olds.

I filled in for teachers who needed to be away from school, whether for a day at a time or for long-term leaves. I completed long-term jobs in 1st grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade, and in a media center.

I taught a small group of students of varying ages after school using provided materials.

* I worked with product development teams to create user manuals and F1 help for ACS software. This involved becoming familiar with a product through trial and error and maintaining a close relationship with QA. I also acted as editor from time to time, reviewing colleagues' documentation for style and grammar. Tools I used were RoboHelp X5 * Adobe FrameMaker 7.1 * Macromedia Captivate 2.0 * and MS Word, Excel, and FrontPage.

As marketing writer and editor, I was responsible for writing magazine articles for three different publications each month along with writing company press releases when necessary. I was responsible for creating and editing two client newsletters each month and updating three client news web pages on a daily basis. I helped create product brochures and edited documentation for the company's annual client convention. I used MS Word primarily but became familiar with HTML when updating Web content.
