Current internal audit work focuses on liquidity risk management, including LCR. Additional areas of focus include projects related to international liquidity standards (CBOI/CRD IV), CCAR (and associated stress testing), derivatives, asset-liability management, SOX testing, and agreed-upon-procedures for external auditors. Responsibilities involve project management, controls/process evaluation and testing, as well as extensive interaction and coordination with different business lines/departments, internal audit groups, and external auditors. Previous experience includes Big 4 external audits on mortgage bank and auto finance clients with an emphasis in the areas of derivatives, SOX, and cash flow statement for financial reporting. Assignments included exposure to ASC 815 (FAS 133) hedging, IAS 39 reporting, valuation of derivatives, and collaboration with a multinational audit team.
