Project Rebound is a program that assist previously incarcerated college students navigate college. We provide academic and financial support for our students. We conduct one on one meetings and group events to create a community with our students.

I have and am currently conducting qualitative and quantitative research on a student pantry that helps food insecure students access food. Throughout this internship, I have created a survey, surveyed students, coded response patterns, conducted interview questions and interviewed students.

As a Peer Mentor, I mentored first-year students with helping them transition to college personally and academically. I also exposed students to resources on campus, helped students develop goals and strategies to accomplish and conducted workshops to students on test-taking, time management, etc.. I also meet with students once a month to follow up with goals and academic success.

I provided academic assistance in the form of tutoring one on one with students as well as group tutoring. I also was an in-class tutor who made sure students were comprehending what the teacher was teaching. As a tutor, I worked with students who were behind in credits and helped them catch up through online courses.
