About

I am passionate about languages, culture and education, and thus I did my first degree in Foreign Language Teacher Education in Colombia. I graduated in 2010 however I started working as a teacher long before that. After volunteering at a rural children's home in Brazil for six months, and after taking an Erasmus Mundus master program in Outdoor Studies, I am now also passionate about nature and the environment.

I started as a substitute teacher while I was still studying but after graduating I worked full time at the institution. My main responsibilities were teaching English for specific purposes to undergraduate students and teaching EFL to high school students. This implied designing special materials, planning activities and preparing students for internationally based tests (KET, PET, TOEFL and IELTS).
