About
kia ora linkedin friends ⚡️ do you need my skills, support or friendly banter on product, programme & service design, social impact, storytelling, community building, poetry? 👋 i have spent the last 10 years building out a squiggly career/life journey, being a biomedical researcher, product manager, educator, founder. i worked across government (N4L - NZ Ministry of Education), healthcare (Health NZ), and startups. my work centres on ensuring we are building programs, products & services that keep people and planet well. by centering community/user voices, especially those traditionally excluded; creating inclusive and accessible technology; bringing delight and radical responsibility into everything we do. what I bring: → full-cycle product & service design leadership in public sector & health tech → deep expertise in community-centred design & digital equity → track record scaling products from pilot to national use → board governance & capability building (taught 1000+ practitioners) → founded two social impact organisations (shared 200+ stories, run 50+ events & led 15+ people) → human-centred design lens and frameworks → extensive public speaking experience (certified yapper) and funky slides that everybody loves 🤩 🗽 as of this year, i'm based in NYC and looking for my next adventure: senior product roles, chief of staff, founding member, service designer, consultant, strategic program leadership. at mission-driven organizations working on healthcare access, education equity, or supporting underserved communities. i love smaller teams where i can do strategy work but also get into the weeds! i have a background in biomedical sciences + human rights postgrad + stanford design thinking + recently completed acting conservatory to deepen creativity and storytelling.

Making Good Money Podcast
New York, NY
A podcast about money transparency in purpose-driven businesses. On Making Good Money, I explore how social entrepreneurs, ethical brands, and mission-driven organisations *actually* run: financially & operationally. If you're building (or dreaming of) an inclusive business, social impact project, or values-driven venture, AND you are very uncomfortable talking about money. Join me as I ask founders questions we are all uncomfortable asking: How much money do you make? What’s your business model? Can you build wealth for liberation without replicating harmful capitalist systems?

Design thinking
