T.C. Dışişleri Bakanlığı bünyesinde gerçekleştirdiğim staj süresince çevirmen/tercüman olarak görev aldım. Bu kapsamda uluslararası anlaşmalar, diplomatik yazışmalar, resmî mektuplar, bildiriler ve çeşitli politik metinlerin çevirisini yaptım. Çeviri sürecinde yalnızca dilsel aktarım değil; metinlerin siyasal bağlamı, diplomatik üslubu ve sosyo-kültürel arka planı üzerinde de ayrıntılı biçimde çalıştım. Özellikle siyasi ve sosyal içerikli metinlerde kullanılan dilin tonunun, kavram seçimlerinin ve söylem farklılıklarının hedef dilde doğru ve bağlama uygun biçimde karşılanmasına özen gösterdim. Bu süreçte farklı diller arasında anlam kaybını önlemek, diplomatik hassasiyetleri korumak ve metinlerin resmî niteliğini muhafaza etmek adına karşılaştırmalı metin analizi yaptım. Uluslararası metinlerde dil, üslup ve söylem arasındaki farkları inceleyerek çeviri kararlarımı bu çok katmanlı yapı üzerinden geliştirdim. Staj deneyimim, bana yalnızca ileri düzey çeviri pratiği kazandırmakla kalmadı; aynı zamanda diplomatik iletişim, siyasal dil kullanımı ve resmî metin yazımı konusunda güçlü bir analitik bakış açısı edinmemi sağladı.

I am currently enrolled in the School of Diplomacy organized by the Foreign Policy Institute, a comprehensive and high-level certificate program designed to prepare participants for diplomatic careers and deepen their understanding of international affairs. The program consists of weekly seminars delivered by experienced ambassadors, professors, and policy experts, focusing on both theoretical foundations and real-world diplomatic challenges. Topics covered include international security and human rights mechanisms (UN and Council of Europe), the structure and career paths within the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkey’s regional foreign policy in the Caucasus, Central Asia, Africa, and the Aegean, as well as global issues such as the rise of China, the Korean Peninsula tensions, the Ukraine-Russia war, energy geopolitics, migration and asylum policy, and the evolving Turkey–EU, Turkey–US, and Turkey–West relations. The program also addresses contemporary themes such as digital diplomacy, cultural diplomacy, the Organization of Turkic States, and the writing and interview components of the MFA entrance exams. Throughout the program, I actively participate in discussions, policy simulations, and expert-led analysis sessions that enhance my practical understanding of diplomacy, international negotiation, and foreign policy strategy from a Turkish and global perspective.

Participating in the Foreign Policy Institute’s summer internship program, which offers high-level seminars and interactive sessions with prominent academics, diplomats, and policy experts. The program provides a comprehensive understanding of key global and regional dynamics in foreign policy, political theory, security, and economics. Throughout the program, I: •Attend lectures by Prof. Dr. Birgül Demirtaş on major political ideologies, including Liberalism, Socialism, Conservatism, Nationalism, Feminism, and Green Theory, analyzing their influence on international relations. Take part in strategic discussions with Prof. Dr. Hasan Ünal on: •Potential global and regional conflict scenarios •The geopolitical implications of S-400 and F-35 developments •U.S. military presence in Southern Cyprus and possible Turkish responses •The foreign policy record of Donald Trump •Engage with Ambassador (R) Fatih Ceylan on Turkey’s foreign policy evolution since Lausanne, Turkey’s role in NATO, China’s rise and the Middle Corridor, and European militarization trends. Explore regional affairs with Prof. Dr. Yıldız Deveci Bozkus, focusing on: •Turkey-Azerbaijan relations •The Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict •Turkey-Armenia relations •Current political developments in the South Caucasus Study global economic transitions with Dr. Elif Kaya, including: •Foundations and transformation of the global economic order •Geopolitical trade wars and global power competition •The rise of the digital economy •Ongoing crises and the quest for a new global economic system As part of the program, I write weekly analytical essays on selected topics, applying theoretical frameworks to current geopolitical developments.

Participated in an intensive business immersion organized by the Bilkent Young Entrepreneurs Society. Engaged with leading companies including MathWorks, Sportradar, Red Hat, Siemens, Conrad Electronic, Jungheinrich, and CELUS GmbH, gaining insight into global operations across technology, industrial systems, HR, and product innovation. Participated in executive-led sessions, office tours, and interactive discussions covering solution architecture, project and product management, human resources, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.

•Spearheaded engaging events to promote American culture and democratic values among students. •Organized "Yes or No President Tier List", a dynamic discussion event encouraging critical thinking on U.S. presidential leadership. •Hosted an "American Trivia Quiz", enhancing participants' knowledge of U.S. history, culture, and politics in an interactive format. •Collaborated with fellow board members to expand society outreach and engagement. •Conducted in-depth research and prepared reports on child marriages and forced marriages affecting women in Turkey. •Analyzed and compiled statistical data on overall marriage trends in Turkey to support advocacy efforts. •Explored and proposed intervention strategies to assist children and women forced into marriage and education dropout. •Assisted in curriculum development for seminars aimed at empowering women and their daughters. •Edited and produced video interviews, incorporating sound and video design to enhance storytelling for advocacy.
