Elaine is a senior Bachelor of Business Administration candidate studying at the Beedie School of Business with a concentration in accounting. She attained strong professional communication skills, leadership and teamwork skills through her seven plus years of work experience through the sales/customer service industry, government sector and public accounting. For example, working at the Canada Revenue Agency allowed Elaine to utilized her academic knowledge in the workplace through preparing business reports aimed at analyzing departmental operations and presenting report findings to different levels of management. Elaine is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese and is open to seeking employment across Canada and China. Her career objective is to be able to apply her academic knowledge, competencies and personal attributes to launch a career in accounting and pursue a CPA designation.
