Managed 8-person onsite team to develop products for commercial markets. • Increased revenue in stagnating market by introducing Nanocomp’s product into Huntsman’s product portfolio, working with international sales team and coordinating product introductions with Huntsman’s technical centers in Houston and Basel along with strategic marketing group. • Generated new product line for office heating by developing Far infrared heaters from concept to commercial product for $200M market. • Developed ESD adhesive, now offered worldwide in Huntsman’s product portfolio, communicating benefits of conductive adhesive to current markets and training Sales and technical teams. • Introduced Miralon® pulp as conductive additive to $5B energy storage materials market, bringing new customer base to US Division and enabling funded EU project to develop new battery concept.

Guided technical direction and 5-person team to develop distributed manufacturing of printed solar modules to $500M market. • Maintained investor funding by producing technical road map, IP portfolio, and JDAs with 3 companies. • Assisted with business plan and traveled internationally to meet with fund managers, presenting concept and growing company’s portfolio. • Built trust with Board and investors, driving continued funding. • Developed JDA with 2 universities, helping research and develop technology.

Led commercialization of R2R printed organic PV, including process development scale up. Purchased existing manufacturing plant for $6M. Led 20-person multi-disciplinary team of chemists, engineers, and technicians working with customers and end users to design and create products for $200M flexible solar market. • Established reliability metrics, product validation, raw material, process specification, and documentation, resulting in robust, high volume product. • Led industry by becoming first in the world to produce roll to roll printed solar cells, sell printed Organic photovoltaic cells, and develop greenhouse draped in solar cells.

Secured Angel funding and worked nights and weekends to demonstrate feasibility of printing solar cells from solutions and dispersions. Authored patent and obtained allowance. Sold IP to Konarka in 2006 and joined Konarka as Director of Organic Electronic Printing Technology.
