About
I am an experienced leader with strategic insight and strong relationship-building skills. Over the years, I have held leadership roles in complex organizations requiring modernization of IT operations to meet today’s expectations. In demanding assignments, I’ve helped establish clarity and structure while driving change towards modern IT operating models. Trust takes time to build, and I emphasize clear communication of direction – especially when the consequences are challenging. With experience from both technology environments and organizations undergoing transformation, I create value where strategy and human insight intersect. Extensive experience with international IT companies has provided me with depth and breadth – including strategic transformation projects related to mergers and acquisitions, new operational agreements, and the implementation of new technologies. This background has strengthened my ability to lead in fast-changing environments, where collaboration between business, technology, and people is essential. My strength lies in working across disciplines – bridging IT departments, business units, and end-users. I thrive in complex, high-pressure environments and bring solid leadership experience as a program manager, line manager, and interim leader – on both the supplier and customer side. My focus is always on people, leadership, and the structures we work within. With a strong technical understanding and well-developed interpersonal skills, I am often entrusted with projects of high complexity – influencing organizations on a technical, commercial, and structural level. I consistently deliver high-quality results through solution-oriented approaches and effective teamwork. In times of major change, I’ve received feedback that I contribute valuable perspectives, quickly analyze situations, and help create a safe and supportive atmosphere.

Board culture and sustainability are challenged by academic and empirical expertise to enhance the value of board work for the board itself, the organization, and society—both in Norway and internationally. CORPRT is a research- and experience-based think tank that charts new directions for board performance in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Its recommendations specify the minimum responsibilities that, beyond legal obligations, apply to every board. See corprt.no for more information. I work within the sustainability expert groups, where we are developing a recommendation on how boards should approach sustainability as a strategic topic.

Situational Management
The foundational principle of the Situational Leadership Model is that there is no single “best” leadership style. Effective leadership is task-relevant, and the most successful leaders are those who adapt their leadership style to the Performance Readiness (ability and willingness) of the individual or group they are trying to lead or influence. Effective leadership varies not only with the person or group being influenced, but also depends on the task, job, or function that needs to be performed. The Situational Leadership Model is based on two fundamental concepts: leadership style and the Performance Readiness level of the individual or group.
