Responsible for procurement of Interconnect Assemblies and Accessories for all Elbit Systems Group (locally and globally) in total spend of $120M a year. Formulation and management of Elbit's procurement strategy in the category in collaboration with the division's representatives (matrix management of five senior's buyers from various divisions). Planning and implementing an annual work plan that includes measurable goals and initiatives. Leading contracts and engagements in amounts of $M's. Managing Suppliers base, including improving suppliers performances implementing innovative work processes and creating a common operational language throughout the group. Management and optimize of a plan to gain cost reduction. Creating standardization of procurement procedures and best practice. Establishing and managing a group that maintains the Aerospace Purchasing Backlog (150k PO lines a year), highly focus on OTD, expedite and delay PO lines according to the manufacturing requirements. Creating routines, tools and SOP to provide best in class service to the supply chain.
