It's been an exciting start in my new role in the health tech industry. From my remote home office, I have the privilege of working with people all across this country in a telehealth modality. Providing mental health counseling over the telephone or on Teams removes barriers to care and reduces stigma around accessing services. Also, with my background in higher ed, I enjoy working with students from universities and colleges throughout the United States, as Telus Health provides counseling to supplement the services available on campus.
