Eid Maghareez

Hello, I’m Eid Maghareez, a Network and Information Security Engineer driven by a deep passion for everything tech related from programming, threat hunting, bug bounty, and deep web monitoring to GRC, incident response, and penetration testing. I’m currently an Information & Cybersecurity at the risk department at Bank al Etihad, where I work across a wide spectrum of security domains from threat detection and intelligence, deep and dark web monitoring, GRC, risk management and compliance, data protection and privacy, to vulnerability, security, and risk assessments. Ensuring the bank’s digital ecosystem remains secure and resilient. I thrive on investigating threats, uncovering unseen threats, and strengthening defenses through both technical and strategic perspectives. I also love programming and AI, as I've merged my interests in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence by designing and implementing a machine learning model that detects and classifies cyberattacks on IoT devices with 99.8% accuracy, trained on the CICIoT2023 dataset by the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity.
