Consultant Project Manager approved by DEWA for 132 KV electrical Substations Currently, I am Project Manager for MAHRA, JEYAD & FORSAN 132 KV Substations.

Project Manager for the following Projects:- -Dynamic Reactive power Compensation at Jeddah North 380 KV S/S -Expansion of Jeddah North West 380 KV S/S Achievement & Responsibilities in KSA: 1. Checking the scheme of local control panels, protection and remote control panels. 2. Witnessing the testing of CT, CVT, VT and auxiliary relays. 3. Bus bar, power transformer, shunt reactor stability test. 4. Supervision of all GIS related tests i.e. purity, gas percentage, leakage, gas density monitoring, CB timing and contact resistance tests. 5. Witnessing High voltage and Partial discharge Tests for 380 KV Switchgear. 6. Reviewing as built schematic drawings pertaining to protection and control schemes. 7. Reviewing base and detail design document pertaining to protection assuring its compliance with tender drawings, SEC standards and scope of work. 8. Settling disputed technical issues between the contractor's designers & design reviewers in light of scope of work and company's technical specification. 9. Coordinating between SEC & Saudi Railway Organization for the technical / contractual interface issues. 10. Reviewing master time schedule for the project & follow up actual progress versus planned one. 11. Evaluating submitted technical deviations in light of scope of work & SEC standard. 12. Coordinating between SEC EHV project department and other SEC departments i.e. protection, telecom, planning. etc. 13. Follow up procurements, factory acceptance tests & FAT approval in order to issue shipment release. 14. Monitoring all project activities through site consultants in order to maintain project completion within contractual time frames. 15. Representing SEC in all interface meetings with contractors & other departments 

(1) Project Engineer for 380 KV HHR Project: Construction of Six new HHR 380/110/33/13.8 KV S/Ss, each S/S consist of 380 KV (10) Diameters GIS one and half, (3) 502 MVA power transformers with associated systems in order to supply Saudi Railway Organization with the required power of Harmain High Speed Train plus construction of one (-600) MVAR capacitive / (+200) MVAR inductive static VAR compensators in HHR-1 & HHR-6 substations. (2) Acting Project Manager for 110 Protection Modification Project: Replacement of protection panels in 22 existing substations in Jeddah, Makkah & Taif

(1) Protection Site Consultant for Al-Kudmi Project: Construction of new 2 x 502 MVA 380/132/13.8 KV GIS Substation with 09 Bays of 380 KV and 20 Bays of 132 KV with associated systems. (2) Protection Site Consultant for Namerah North 380/132 KV S/S Project: Adding 2 Nos. 380 KV over head lines bays with 2 Nos. of 550 KV outdoor Hybrid Switchgear for 2 Nos. of 80 MVAR shunt Reactor with associated systems in Shoaiba S/S (Remote end for Namerah S/S) (3) Protection Site Consultant for expansion of Shoaiba Power Plant: In order to evacuate power from the stage III expansion of Shoaiba Power Plant, one 380 KV new bay and modification of one spare outgoing circuit in the existing 380 KV GIS are necessary. Two (2) Nos. of 110 KV GIS bays extension are also required for feeding the services transformers in power plant.

Achievement & Responsibilities in Egypt:  Rectification the trouble Shooting in protection and Control schemes.  Upgrade Cairo zone from electromechanical and static relays to digital relays.  Executing the periodic Testing and maintenance of the protective relays pertaining to HV line feeders, power transformers, bus couplers and MV outgoing feeders.  Adding &testing of new power transformer bays (25MVA, 66/11 KV) and capacitor banks with associated protection systems in Sheraton and Misr El Gedida S/S.  Converting 66 KV feeder bay into new power transformer bay in El Gabal El Asfar S/S.  Carrying out power transformer stability test, CT test and CT primary injection.  Testing &calibration of measuring instruments like voltmeters, ammeters, power, frequency, PF and energy meters and transducers.  Representing EETC for witnessing the commissioning of El Rehab new 66/22 KV S/S.  Knowledge to communicate with protection relays manually or by operating software methods to apply the final setting as per system requirements.  Operating experience of different types of testing and calibrating equipment like primary injection ODEN, secondary injection SVERKER 760, ISA DTR3, CT Analyzer, CPC 100, FREJA and OMICRON.  Testing the following relays: ABB over current SPAJ 140 C, SIEMENS over current 7SJ602, ABB distance REL 361, SIEMENS distance 7SA610, GE distance D60, AREVA distance MICOM P441, ABB Transformer differential SPAD 346 C, SIEMENS trans. Diff. 7UT612, GE trans. Diff. DTP, SIEMENS line Diff. 7SD610 , AREVA Restricted E.F.MFAC 14, REC 561, RET 521, SPAJ, SPAE, SPAC 539, RXD HL4, RX I DK, REB and REZ.
