Operations specialist in the New Accounts and Account Maintenance teams at E*Trade Financial. Daily responsibilities entailed processing new account applications for bank/brokerage. Account maintenance duties included verifying client's information with credit bureaus such as Equifax, ensuring proper tax status in compliance with the IRS, and resolving discrepancies with client data across multiple databases such as ADP. Communicated with internal departments such as Customer Service, Fraud, Principal Review, and Compliance to ensure a swift and efficient experience for company clients.

Worked as part of a research team in collaboration with the Brookhaven National Laboratory Chemistry Division. Carried out bench-top syntheses of novel ionic liquids and characterizing their physical properties using various analytical techniques. In addition to bench-top syntheses and characterization of physical properties, duties included co-supervising junior group members in the laboratory and ensuring project deadlines are met.

Worked as a researcher on the synthesis of anti-bacterial compounds to be treated onto surfaces. Duties included bench-top syntheses of organic compounds and purification using various standard organic methods. Technical skills: -Structural confirmation using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy -Separation of compounds using Column Chromatography -Identification of components in mixtures using Thin-Layer Chromatography (TLC) -Detecting absorption using a Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-VIS) spectrophotometer
