Emily Baum is an innovation and entrepreneurship leader who has worked across startups, venture capital, universities, and nonprofit organizations. As a founder, venture investor, educator, and ecosystem builder, she has helped entrepreneurs launch companies, secure funding, build partnerships, and navigate growth. Most recently, Emily served as Program Director for Project W, where she led initiatives supporting underrepresented founders through accelerator programs, investor engagement, and strategic partnerships. Previously, she led investments for the NYU Innovation Venture Fund and served as Inclusive Entrepreneurship Lead for the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute, helping founders and researchers translate ideas into ventures. Emily holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Engineering Management from Northwestern's McCormick School of Engineering, and a B.A. in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California.
