Oversee all collection efforts made by Collection Team. Monitor calls made, contacts and ensure that all collection efforts (calls, reworks, reschedules, repossessions, and reporting to Delinquent Loan Committee) are accurate and within the procedures set forth by Beacon Credit Union. Develop and counsel past due members back into a good standing with Credit Union. Maintain past dues and charge offs within credit union parameters Recognize, evaluate and take adverse action on unsalvageable accounts quickly to minimize loss. Ensure that VP of Operations is abreast of all Collection efforts, issues and activity being handled Handle liquidation of all collateral and ensure the credit union receives the best market price and that the UCC code is followed to the letter when disposing of repossessed or foreclosed property.
