Lead Purchasing on all materials procured for plastic molding Responsible on all SCM/Purchasing/PMC/Warehouse related ISO (9001, 13485, 16949, 14001, OHSAS18001) procedures and responsible for full audit. Reviewing & Evaluating all potential sourcing strategies to maximize savings, including global sourcing, e-auctions, spot vs. contract.Consistency in close communication with the Regional SCM Managers in China and Europe. Responsible for reviewing Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA), General Purchase Agreement (GPA) and Purchasing Policy & supplier base rationalization across South Asia and also generate commodity price trend report for review market price trend.

Responsible for Procurement & Purchasing process, activities, strategy and initiatives on Sourcing and pricing negotiations for all materials (Steel, Sheet Metals Fabrications Purchase Electromechanical parts, packaging, plating services, assemblies & sub-contract stamping mechanical parts, injection molding & plastics parts). Drive, supervise and review the supply chain management strategies to meet management objectives as well as customer’s specific expectations. Ensure Purchasing pricing, BOM data, Routing review, Frozen price, Purchase price and system data (via SAP) are accurately maintained and quarterly review critical and high value buy MOQ for plan to reduced. Responsible for total logistics and shipping to meet all customer deliveries schedule and ensure customer VMI hub are healthy as per sales agreement. Responsible for managing all freight providers & price negotiation for all freight rates and drive cost reduction for inbound and outbound freight. Managed unplanned freight to reduce cost for higher margin. Managed freight expenses against purchases value and also revenue. Inclusive of all shipment for any toolings transfer. Manage and coordinate environmental improvement programmes for environmental protection and pollution prevention. Responsible for yearly appraisal of SCM department staffs under my charge.

Budget Management, Inventory Management Responsible in bench-marking commodities prices and drive cost reduction & responsible for pricing transparencies for all commodities and review sourcing process flow on quarterly basis ensuring that RFQ to suppliers adhere to the costing requirements of the company to up hold fair and reasonable price obtained. Responsible of ensuring purchasing procedure are properly and accurately adhered as per ISO9000, TS16949, 14001. Manage and coordinate environmental improvement programs for environmental protection and pollution prevention. Review to oversee the commodity's performance and launch any necessary corrective actions. Driving E & O, aging inventories and maximize material PPV thus improving material gross material margin (GMM) and gross margin (GM). Lead saving project and second source project, identify & evaluate new suppliers & alternative for better cost position and supply security, coordinate qualification process. Manage the whole sourcing process from sourcing project identification, supplier search and selection, APQP, tool and F/A development, PPAP until mass production. Measure the performance of key part/component suppliers to ensure the required Quality, Delivery and Delivery are met. Responsible for Procurement & Purchasing process and activities, Sourcing and pricing negotiations for all materials (Toolings, Steel, Precision Machining Electromechanical parts, packaging, precision castings, plating services (surface treatment), assemblies stamping mechanical parts and plastics injection moulding parts). Responsible for reviewing and approved RFQ replies from suppliers and singed off for Purchase Quotes (PQ) to Business Development / Program Sales Department. Responsible managing critical suppliers relationship for NPI and ongoing RFQs. Responsible for supplier selection, supplier cost performance, Initiate Quarterly Business Review (QBR) with Suppliers and Critical ensure Supply Audits are carried out and ensure Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) are signed for all suppliers. Responsible overall inventory management on monthly reviewing of total inventory value and days as per KPI and review aging inventory for disposition, Excess & Obsolete (E & O) Inventory & defective inventories on timely return.

Procurement of all Direct materials for continuing of supply , MRO, toolings & Capital Expenses purchase accordance and obliging to budget. Responsible for all RFQ (includes assemblies) from customers (through Business Development Managers & Program Managers). Responsible for managing all forecast for all customer against material supplied and with readiness on any production ramp or upside. Sourcing and sending RFQ to new and existing suppliers to obtain competitive quote or prices for NPI launched or ECN changed request.
