BCREM has established close relationships with thousands of capital sources. These include; CMBS, life companies, banks, credit unions, REIT’s, pension and private funds. BCREM is also a correspondent for several Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD lenders.

Appraise all types of commercial property in California, Arizona and Nevada. Have provided litigation support and expert witness in complex valuation issues as well as fraud and bankruptcy proceedings. Work has included research, reports to lawyers, formal presentations to referee or judge, deposition, and testimony in bench or jury trial. Recently completed one assignment for estate planning including 16 apartments and 2 self storage properties.

Underwrite and close the funding of debt and equity from private investor funds. Provide valuation assessments for these loans and equity investments. Originate new loans with existing as well as new customers. Fund construction and bridge loans for most property types as well as land loans. Work as an integral part of the executive management team. Take an active role with any problem situation. Work hand-in-hand with production people to solve problems and finalize the transaction to move to a closing. Provide alternative valuations and amend loan documents to meet timing and funding requirements. Previously was Chief Underwriter.

Supervise the management of 1,430,000 sf of retail properties in four states. Negotiate leases, financings, supervise payroll and personnel, deal with unending problems with tenants, bankrupt lenders, mortgage compliance, tax appeals, supervise appraisals, handle banking. Recently negotiated complex 5 property refinance with concurrent 3 defeasances, all properties cross collateralized with concurrent fundings total of $62,000,000. Funded new acquisitions in North Las Vegas and Litchfield Park, in West Phoenix, Arizona

Appraisal of large commerical property and apartments in California and Nevada, and litigation support / expert witness. In some cases the ability to tie in mortgage banking for more than $850,000,000 in commercial property loans, major experience in property management and systems, with appraising all property types in three states has been extremely valuable to litigators as an expert witness.

Originate all forms of mortgages for commercial real estate in the Western United States. Specialized in FNMA and FHA apartment financing, and industrial properties.
