Edward (Ed) is the Creative Director of BrightPie Limited, a London-based design studio. His company, which was founded in 2008, operates both as a graphic/web design studio and as the parent organisation for a number of other start-ups. These projects include Place in Print (http://www.placeinprint.com), Grounded Travel (http://www.groundedtravel.com) and GigSwell (http://www.gigswell.com). Ed's design background spans a number of disciplines, including an academic history in urban design and town planning. Able to adapt quickly to changing trends and project requirements, Ed delivers effective design solutions to the highest standards, whilst communicating effectively with clients and project teams.

As a founding member of the 4 person design team, Ed has been integral to the growth of the company’s Urban Design and Masterplanning offer. Working closely with fellow employees and other professional practices, Ed has undertaken public realm & pedestrian environment analyses, created design codes, provided detailed design input, created photomontages and figurework, produced masterplans, taken part in public consultation, and contributed to option development & appraisal. Besides his design work, Ed is also responsible for corporate tender monitoring across the company, as well as the design, development and implementation of the corporate website (http://www.jmp.co.uk).
