About
The Unit Chief of Health Operations is responsible for the administrative and operational elements crucial to sustaining a government health care system at the level of management of the 21 health centers across the Nation and works closely with other Unit Chiefs. This includes but is not limited to issues and concerns related to day to day operations, processes, maintaining policy, procedures, standards, staffing, scheduling, personnel, funding, and technical monitoring of contracts. The Unit Chief of Health Operations is supported by 3 Regional Health Service Administrators, 20 Health Service Administrators, and 22 Assistant Health Administrators as well as United States Public Health Officers.
