Activity: Mining Capital Goods ▶ Lead the procurement category for mining projects within the Pumps Business Line for Peru and Chile. ▶ Responsible for technical procurement, including electric motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), mechanical seals, impellers, bearing assemblies, hydraulic components, and critical spare parts, as well as plant and maintenance services (installation, overhaul, alignment, preventive and corrective maintenance). ▶ Oversee the full tendering and contracting cycle, including formulation and negotiation; review and address observations in deliverables (contracts, addenda, terminations, etc.) in coordination with the Legal department. ▶ Ensure compliance with all stages of the procurement process (Kickoff, RFI, RFQ, RFP, supplier performance evaluation, and nonconformity management – NCRs), guaranteeing fulfillment of technical specifications, drawings, and other requirements regarding scope, schedule, and cost. ▶ Coordinate and supervise import and export logistics processes (door-to-door) for components and equipment for Peru and Chile. ▶ Coordinate directly with Proposal and Engineering teams in Peru, Sweden, the USA, and India for mining projects. Achievement: ✔️ “Automatic PO” Project: Developed and implemented the “Automatic PO” project for the Spare Parts line in Peru and Chile, which involved updating master data (Fixed Vendor, Agreement, and Lead Time), optimizing the purchasing process, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Activity: Construction Materials and Chemicals ▶ Corporate leader for international procurement, managing an annual volume of USD 42 million. ▶ Country lead and participant in the annual tender process for customs brokers and ocean freight services, coordinating with the LATAM Cluster and negotiating directly with logistics operators. ▶ Implemented strategic sourcing processes to identify, qualify, and onboard potential suppliers at both local and international levels. ▶ Managed contracts, addenda, and SOPs; defined and monitored performance indicators (OTIF, lead time, among others) to ensure supply objectives were met. ▶ Monitored and controlled import and export operations for FCL, LCL, FTL, and Break Bulk shipments across multiple customs offices (Callao, Paita, Desaguadero, and Tacna). ▶ Coordinated door-to-door logistics processes for the importation of oversized machinery and spare parts, arranging flat rack containers, low-bed trucks, and unloading cranes. ▶ Prepared market intelligence reports on commodities and international freight rates based on Veritrade data and global indices. Achievements: ✔️ Customs Cost Optimization: Secured a flat commission rate with the customs broker (USD 110 per DUA) through a rigorous bidding process, generating annual savings of USD 6,000. ✔️ Strategic Commercial Agreements: Negotiated and implemented direct agreements with shipping lines (Hamburg Süd in Chile and ONE/Yang Ming in Colombia), achieving freight rates significantly below spot prices and generating annual savings of USD 180,000. ✔️ Innovation in International Transport: Developed a Break Bulk shipping route for commodities from China (such as galvanized steel and white cement), significantly reducing international freight costs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Achievements: ✔ Tax Recovery: Recovered PEN 800,000 (2018) and PEN 600,000 (2019) in overpaid duties due to the non-application of tariff benefits, through the submission of non-contentious cases before SUNAT and the Tax Court. This initiative was part of a comprehensive diagnostic, internal audit, and continuous improvement plan. ✔ Improved Logistics Performance: Increased OTIF compliance to 90%, optimizing delivery times and reducing delays in the international supply chain. ✔ Enhanced Regulatory Compliance: Played a key role in successful audits to obtain BASC and OEA certifications, raising security and customs compliance standards.
