As the Equipment Mechanical Engineer, am responsible for coordinating the maintenance and integrity activities and their projects on platform XVIII. • Manage maintenance contracts, needing to monitor their execution while giving the support needed to the companies providing services for ensuring the quality, deadline, and costs. • Manage the maintenance and contract indicators while monitoring the action plans to achieve improvements in the maintenance process. • Manage the contracts, planning, budget, and the physical-financial control for coordinating the engineering. • Do the planning and management for carrying out repairs, changes, and for solving leaks on the piping and their connections, as well as maintain the heat exchangers, tanks, and pressure vessels, check the thermal and refractory insulation, do the painting with industrial climbers, water blasting, industrial cleaning, and other services. • Coordinate the mobilizations of contractors, the assembly of equipment, piping pre-fabrication, the preparation and installation of devices, as well as the assembling of scaffolding. • Plan the unit's routine in SAP and MS Project. • Gained experience in the area of offshore industrial piping and shipments on the platform for monitoring and supervising the ongoing services.

As Maintenance Manager, was responsible for managing the preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities as well as the repair and remodeling of the installations and equipment in 16 of the company’s units. • Managed, developed, and controlled KPIs and did the financial planning (CAPEX and OPEX). • Managed the CAPEX projects, led and gave guidance since the design, approval, planning, and all the way to the implementation, being responsible for the cost, deadlines, and quality of the project’s results. • Managed the contract and execution of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, & utilities, refrigeration, air conditioning, and fire prevention projects, being responsible for the activities of maintenance, repair, and remodeling of the premises and equipment. • Developed the scope and technical proposal for the maintenance and spot contracts. • Developed new suppliers of services and materials. • Managed and validated the implementation of SAP/R3 integrated systems.

As the Equipment Mechanical Engineer, was responsible for coordinating the maintenance and integrity activities and projects on the APMF (2 FPSOs and 1 Semi-Submersible Platform). • Managed the demands generated from the audits carried out by SPIE, IBAMA, Class, the Navy, and CIPA and then forwarded them to the areas responsible for their execution and dealing with the pending issues. • Monitored and managed the preventive maintenance plans of static equipment in the field, NR13, boilers, pressure vessels, etc. • Developed new suppliers of products for increasing reliability and reducing the intervention time on the equipment and all the management of contracts for equipment maintenance. • Managed the maintenance indicators and presented the monthly results and proposals for improvements in the area of integrity of the production units to the department’s managers. • Maintained hydraulic and pneumatic winches as well as the auxiliary equipment for handling cargo, including accompanying tests and certifications.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, was responsible for a multidisciplinary team of 70 people composed of analysts, engineers, technicians, and interns. • Prepared and validated maintenance procedures and plans. • Planned the maintenance shutdowns while giving support to the execution teams carrying out the activities with safety and quality. • Led the maintenance engineering team including its profile of losses, failure analysis, improvement projects, and reliability. • Gave support for defining the unit’s CAPEX and OPEX. • Prepared the technical scope for contracting of services and managed the companies providing maintenance services. • Coordinated the purchase of tools and spare parts. • Supervised the plant’s deployment and start-up phase, preparing technical reports for the management. • Gained extensive experience with maintenance routines, retrofitting of machines, TPM, and in planning the preventive and corrective maintenance. • Maintained the belt conveyors, scrapers, pulleys (drums), rollers, aprons, shuts, transfer houses, side guides, and security switches. • Planned the predictive maintenance in the industrial installations, the industrial lubrication plans, and analyzed the vibration of the equipment and the calibration of critical instruments, the thermography, and the scheduled shutdowns.

As Engineering Supervisor, was responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary electrical, instrumentation, automation, and utilities projects.

As Building Projects Supervisor, was responsible for coordinating the construction and start-up of projects in segments such as petrochemical, automobile, agribusiness, beverages, and food.
