Working with the multi-national North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) mission in Afghanistan. Building the viability of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces through the acquisition of vehicles, aircraft, and information and communications technology systems, and the management of logistic and support contracts. Achievements: - Planned, budgeted, and delivered $1.8 billion in equipment acquisition and logistic services for an organisation of three hundred thousand personnel. - Advised and assisted the Afghan Ministries to improve their governance and self-reliance. - Planned and implemented the transition of national equipment maintenance services from an international contractor-led service to an indigenous Afghan-provided capability.

Responsible for the capital acquisition, delivery, and sustainment of a portfolio of military equipment systems. Engaging industry and working with the Government to deliver future capabilities, support technology innovation, and enable the growth of Australian defence industry. Achievements: - Led the approval through Government and contracting of major projects valued over $2.5 billion. - Oversaw the implementation of a commodity reform program, realising savings of up to $5million per annum and improving service delivery by modernising ordering systems and expediting delivery. - Worked closely with industry to increase domestic participation in major contracts

Program management of a multi-year integrated program of work to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of materiel maintenance. Achievements: - Implemented reforms improving the relationship, focus, and support of strategic maintenance organisations.

Coordination of departmental functions to support service delivery outputs across nine high-performing divisions. Directly supporting and accountable to the Chief Executive Officer (equivalent). Oversight of financial, human resources, safety, risk management, and supply chain governance process. Leading and involvement in strategic planning, crisis management, and day-to-day operational outputs.

Senior Australian representative within the multinational American, British, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand (ABCA) Armies’ Program Office. Develop logistics and health initiatives to improve interoperability across the five armies. Lead development of the Strategic Plan and Future Concept to establish thinking and strategic direction for 15-25 years into the future.
