Building the viability of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces through the acquisition of vehicles, aircraft, and information and communications technology systems, and the management of logistic and support contracts. Achievements: - Planned, budgeted, and delivered $1.8 billion in equipment acquisition and logistic services for an organisation of three hundred thousand personnel. - Advised and assisted the Afghan Ministries to improve their governance and self-reliance. - Planned and implemented the transition of national equipment maintenance services from an international contractor-led service to an indigenous Afghan-provided capability.
