Quality & Process improvement —> • RSGQ (Responsible of the Quality management system): monitoring quality controls of boxes and cardboard and ensure the compliance for the plant’s certifications ISO 9001, GMP Fefco, Bestack and FSC; • Responsible for ensuring the customer focused approach in manufacturing working with sales team; • Responsible for monitoring the different types of paper used in terms of quality and machinability; • Responsible of the plant’s quality lab which perform laboratory tests on samples of corrugated board (PAT, ECT, BCT); • Managing a team of two people: one PIM specialist and one quality lab technician; • Responsible for finding solutions which improve the manufacturing process and for supporting the Manufacturing Manager in reducing waste.

EHS —> • Deputy responsible for Environment, Health and Safety in Catania plant; • Ensuring the compliance for the plant’s certifications ISO 45001 and ISO 14001; • Project management and execution of Safety projects and Safety Capex in Catania plant; • Safety and industrial waste budget control in Catania plant; • Waste water treatment and fire prevention system facility management; • Training as RSPP completed.

Operations —> • Project Portfolio Management for Italian region; • Project’s budget estimate, collection and analysis of offers for the activities requested; • Project feasibility studies and returns on investment; • Project’s spending control during the year; • Project’s management and execution.

Process improvement —> • Downtime control and machine efficiency through management software and data processing on Excel; • Laboratory tests on samples of corrugated board (PAT, ECT, BCT); • MRS (Manufacturing Reliability System) quality control; • Analysis of the different types of paper.

Manufacturing —> • Planning and management of the technological processes of Plasma and Oxyfuel cutting from the design of the work piece for the production up to the actual realization; • Support for machine operators; • Design of production equipment.

Advanced training course on site —> Master in collaboration with UNIMORE, Istituto Italiano della Saldatura (IIS) and University of Bologna. • Attending a part of the cycle of lessons preparatory to the achievement of the title of IWE (International Welding Engineer) by the IIS; • Concepts concerning the design, production and heat treatment of the most common reactors in industrial plants. Outline of plant diagrams and the main causes of corrosion for the equipments.
