Performed duties as a paramedic on prehospital and interfacility ALS calls. Oversaw operations of 3 crews during overnight shifts. Stocked and maintained ALS and BLS ambulances as needed and directed by management.

Paramedic involved in prehospital and interfacility advanced life support care. Responsible for maintenance of bio-medical equipment, ALS inventory, continuing education and coordinating staffing for major sports and entertainment venue standby care.

Provided BLS-level interfacility care and fill-in dispatcher.

As ALS Coordinator, with the assistance of 2 deputy coordinators and 4 field training officers, I am responsible for 40+ Advanced-Care providers (EMTP and PHRN) during the day-to-day ALS component of our operations. This includes all continuing education programs, provider skills maintenance, controlled-substance maintenance, ALS-level bio-med maintenance, and administration of policy as set by our medical director. As Quality Assurance Manager, I ensure corporate compliance, compliance with Federal Medicare statutes and compliance with current Pennsylvania Department of Health protocols as related to our daily activities and documentation. I also liaise with our billing and communications departments to facilitate prompt reimbursement for services rendered.
