Responsible for occupational health and safety as well as environmental issues at Ultragaz across Brazil.

I work supporting the construction of the company's health and safety strategy and being responsible for managing the occupational health and safety routine of all Brazilian Railways managed by VLI. With a team and operations in 8 states in Brazil, our mission is to support the company to be sustainable and evolve a culture of health and safety.

Responsible for the EHS process of 3 units in São Paulo, a unit in Port of Santos, a unit in Lake Wales/USA, and another in Ghent/Belgium supporting the Industrial Operations and agricultural operations. Responsible for the implementation and deployment of the Health, Safety and Environment strategic plan, and consequent implementation of strategic pillars (Technology, Management and Behavior) and preparation of work plans aimed to reduce incidents. Strong performance as integrator between the operational and support areas, aiming at a systemic performance and the engagement of all involved and Development of specific projects in areas under my responsibility.

Responsible for the Occupational Safety process at Porto Ponta da Madeira in São Luís, Carajás Railroad and Mining of Carajás (Risk Grade 4), supporting 18000 employees including own and outsourced employees. In charge of a team of 175 own employees, 3 contracts with 220 outsourced employees and a budget of R$65 million.

Responsible for Health, Safety and Environment process at the Ponta da Madeira Port in São Luís and the Carajás Railroad (Degree of Risk 4) supporting 10.000 employees, including own and outsourced workers. In charge of a team of 190 own employees, 3 contracts with 150 outsourced employees and a budget of R$55 million. ZERO fatality in 10 years, reduction of accident rate from 4 to 1, absenteeism rate, reduction of high and very high risks scenarios, project to improve behavior, reduction of new water consumption and reduction of waste generation, meeting requirements legal, ZERO Non-Compliance in CONAMA audits, etc.

Responsible for the Occupational Health and Safety process of the Carajás Railroad and the Port of São Luis (Risk Grade 4), supporting 10.000 employees including own and third parties. Team with 140 employees, 3 contracts with 100 outsourced employees and a budget of R$30 millions. ZERO fatality, accident rate reduction from 4 to 1, Vale's best result in the SS management system, reduction in absenteeism rate, creation of the Super Air Race, the Vale hiking project, etc.

Responsible for Compliance with Legal Requirements, Critical Activities Requirements, Implementation of Occupational Hygiene, Emergency System at São Luis and Carajás Railroad, Management of Health and Safety Training and Risk Management. Team with 25 employees responsible for supporting health and safety supervisors.

Technical analysis of investment projects and project support for the performance management area. Reliability engineering and operational risk management.

The double degree program in France lasted two academic years in two terms. During this time there were several challenges, language, culture, level of engineering in France, development of my professional project. A spectacular experience!
