Successfully managed the efforts to do the site survey for the telecommunications project on the Rio Tinto Expansion in Corumbá, including the sites in Uruguay and Paraguai, coordinating with local companies on each country. Prepared the specification and configuration for router and switch to be implemented in the Sandwell office in Lima. Packed and organized the documents for the Rio Tinto Expansion project when they decided to cancel the project due to the world crisis that was happening by that time.

During the exploration operations in the El Paso fields in Camamu and Santos, I was in charge of the installation and support for all IT and telecommunications infrastructure. With respect to the satellite data connection, I was in charge of all the steps, from quoting to installation coordination in on shore and off shore drilling rigs. In the shore base and field offices, I was responsible for quoting and coordinating the installations of the terrestrial links and quoting of equipments as well as installing and configuring all El Paso equipments (including computers, routers, VoIP PBX routers and switches). Coordinating the efforts to acquire the necessary licenses with ANATEL, the Navy and Aeronautics in Brazil to operate all El Paso owned equipments in the future production operation in Bahia. I was in charge of the project to create the operational and corporate telecommunications infrastructure on the UTE Macaé (Rio de Janeiro), Termonorte (Rondônia) and Manaus (Amazonas) thermal power plants. In all occasions, an intense integration with several departments in the Houston headquarters of the company was necessary in order to maintain the same international corporate standards in Brazil.
