Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on sonar equipment * tests and repairs or replaces electrical/electronic components and parts * localizes equipment malfunctions to systems, subsystems, circuits, or parts * installs minor modifications to electronic sonar equipment * operates analog/digital sonar computer * inventories tools, portable test equipment, and installed equipment * completes maintenance reports * trains and supervises subordinates.
