• Responsible for the APQP follow-up within the company. Create and maintain all related documentation to the new products (PFMEA, Flow Charts, Work Instructions, Packaging Instructions). • Cost savings analysis based on Costed BOMs. • Create and maintain BOMs for new and current projects. • Create and update work instructions for new and current products. • Daily financial analysis on products produced the day before to ensure an optimal process. • Responsible to create Bill-of-Material when launching new products. • Create and maintain up to date Bill of Materials and Costed BOMs. • Create and manage packaging proposals to customers according to their specifications. • Launch new products following company’s standards and procedures to ensure a smooth transition for full production. • Validated parameters, packaging, labor costs, to comply with costs provided by quoting department.

Personnel management. Fulfil production plans as well as shipment dates to our customers. Comply with daily production standards and metrics. Create action plans to reduce defects in manufacturing areas under my administration. Participate within my Natural Work Group with other departments to improve our in-plant metrics (People absence, quality issues, labor efficiency, scrap reduction, over time reduction and security). Promote a respect and order culture within my production areas to maintain a healthy work environment. Administrate personnel vacations, permits, etc. Work in daily scrap reduction plans. Supervise trainings and follow up on new hiring personnel. Daily follow up in 5´s and area conservation. Conflict resolution.

Implement TWI training method in new projects collaborating with other teams from other Johnson and Johnson facilities. Create training matrix for new products assembly lines. Supervise trainers and operators in other J&J sites within US (California, Utah and Florida). Collect data, review and improve documentation processes. Review documentation to ensure its content is well redacted and consistent. Create and translate documents for new products collaborating with people from other locations. Translation approver for all documentation within NPI as well in collaboration with other departments. Coordinate meetings with our counterparts in other sites to solve issues related to documentation and improve documentation processes as well. Responsible to coordinate ECO´s (Engineering Changes). Support to engineers and technicians to create and write ECO´s. Support engineers to create or update manufacturing documents, forms, procedures, etc. Review with trainers all documentation related to manufacturing process, ensure a correct understanding, and make the proper changes when needed for their trainings. Participate in Kaizen projects. Responsible to coordinate travel arrangements for trainers and operators. Also, provide hotels, transportation and logistics in travels to other J&J sites.

Documentation management for manufacturing processes like PFMEAS, Control Plans and Process Flow Diagram. Establish plans to maintain documentation updated. Create and develop PFMEAS, Process Flow Diagrams and Work Instructions. Coordinate Engineering Changes, with other departments as Quality, Training, Materials and Production Planners. Work on improvements for manufacturing work stations (reduce time, ergonomic movements, design fixtures etc.). Validate manufacturing workstations and equipment (functionality, security, ergonomic). Develop projects to assure operator’s safety. Scrap reduction projects. Train new employees in work instructions, poka-yokes and additional documentation. Train personnel in the introduction of new processes. Design workstations for new projects. Coordinate transition from NPI to manufacturing. Support to clients in their facilities to coordinate reworks o sorting of non-conforming material.
