Project team for a BG Group capital project (Factory Drilling); a high tempo well construction programme to drill for gas in Queensland, Australia. Subsequently worked on a decommissioning project (J.V between Shell and Exxon), in the Netherlands

Feasibility study for an exploration business venture in Africa. The work gave a political, economic and legal assessment of the country and covered logistics infrastructure in place, future developments, opportunities, risks and benchmark costs.

Gained experience in the political sphere, following issues covered by the Energy and Climate Change Select Committee and All Party Parliamentary Group for Unconventional Oil and Gas.

An active career as an officer in the British army, serving in leadership, operations and advisory roles from Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen to Kosovo, Northern Ireland and Cyprus. These included 2 Rifles Head of Operations, Aide de Camp to The Commander British Forces Cyprus, counter-terrorism operations and instructing at the Land Warfare Centre, the Army’s Centre of Excellence.
