Evaluated and supervised all Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations for Cardinal health Nuclear Phamacy Services. Developed, planned and executed the EHS program for the business unit, which became the benchmark for all 190 Cardinal Health nuclear pharmacies and PET sites. Recommended and instituted cost effective loss control programs to reduce safety and workers compensation expenses to achieve significant savings in the Workers Compensation program. Established a comprehensive and effective return to work program to further ensure cost savings. Created and sustained a positive safety culture including improved interaction between corporate and field locations. Key components are effective communication with the field locations and translation of safety metrics to functioning safety plans.
