I lead initiatives focused on brand identity, brand values, and product identity for a diverse clientele at DesignUM. My responsibilities encompass conducting thorough analysis studies, defining essential visual elements, performing market research, analyzing competitors' products, and conducting brand positioning studies. I specialized in Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) design, and I actively manage CMF projects. This includes conducting trend research and analysis, crafting CMF concepts tailored to brand identity and strategic goals, defining the CMF identity of products and product families, and developing product segmentation. My work involves mood boarding, presenting diverse CMF alternatives, finalizing color schemes, overseeing production processes, conducting sample checks, and providing valuable feedback. I was responsible for visualizing design alternatives designed within DesignUM, and I prepared presentation materials to effectively communicate our design concepts. I led the content development, program organization, and execution of idea development and brainstorming workshops in collaboration with the brands we work with. I also compiled comprehensive reports based on the outputs of these workshops. Achievements: • Having worked at a busy and one of the leading design studios in Turkey which works in a wide range of different fields with a big focus on small household appliances, home appliances, electronics, and transportation, has contributed to developing many of my skills as a CMF designer. • I developed and finalized CMF alternatives for coffee related products within Arzum OKKA brand and product identity. • Successfully conducted CMF studies aligned with the brand and product identity for both the DesignUM product designs and OEM products within the scope of brand's identity. • I created new color, paint, and coating suggestions for several brands, leading to the development of product ranges, segmentation, and product series.
