Ece Sakaoglu Somal

A born attentive, I love working with great bunches of people. Learning day by day keeps me going and I value personal growth while nurturing my surrounding. I love the industry that I'm in because a) there's always a hidden gem to chase b) amazing people to work with c) it's ever growing, I'm always advancing. After amazing years as a VC, now I'm glad to have joined the other side of the table. While being exposed to various genius ideas meant a huge deal, experiencing the whole chain behind a product, prior, is a key role for all VC Investors I shall say. Communication is my strongest suit which makes me effective working relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors and business partners. I believe I'm bold, a motivated team player with good interpersonal skills combined with the ability to handle stress well under deadlines while maintaining an organised approach. I love brainstorming with different layers of people, and see counterpoints. My analytical thinking and problem solving skills (also through my education) are also both my stronger suits, and getting better day by day. On a side note, being an ICF accredited Coach enables me to apply my trainings to my work environment. Meaning, organisational and executive coaching sessions I've completed reflects to my perception and the way I see/understand people and things. It's always about asking so many different questions, in an outside of the box way for me.
