elia attardo

Elia A. Attardo received the B.S. degree in computer engineering at University of Palermo, Italy, and the M.S. degree in biomedical engineering at the Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. In 2011 he earned the Ph.D. degree in electronics and communications at the Politecnico di Torino. From 2010 to 2011 he was Postdoc Fellow at the Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth College, USA. He is currently Kernel Development Engineer of FEKO at Altair Engineering GmbH. His research interests are in computational electromagnetics with emphasis on the discretization of partial differential equations by Finite Element Method (FEM), Algebraic Multigrid Methods (AMG) for FEM-based electromagnetic solvers, FDTD, GPU-based acceleration techniques, and non-linear microwave imaging algorithms.
