Emily Blair

As Material Control Manager I am responsible for two teams, spanning three areas of control using SAP; the purchase of dry packaging goods; management of logistics core master data; and bulk wine imports for 130 million litres of wine annually. My job requires me to be extremely organised and flexible day to day, manage staff effectively, and communicate with international suppliers. My main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Team manager for all bill of materials in SAP required for every production order across two individual factories. • Taking ownership of material planning issues that arise and any follow-up management, especially in the event of material shortages that affect production and subsequent supply to the customer. • Management of inventory levels to manage inbound dry packaging goods supply that meets the manufacturing production plan. Including obsolete packaging costs, as a result of changes in demand. • Managing member of the core master data team which includes the creation of material codes and maintenance of master data for over 850 individual product SKUs in SAP. I am responsible for driving materials efficiencies across the full Kingsland range.

Graduated with a double 2:1 degree classification after studying for four years in two universities. The programme of study allowed me to complete two years studying Business Management with Spanish at Lancaster University, and then complete a further two years of study in Madrid. I graduated in 2016 with two full degrees, from two separate universities, in both Spanish and English.
