Dylan Cardwell

Throughout life I’ve had many opportunities to volunteer in environments where I could sharpen my abilities of leading, time management, public speaking, working hard and relationship building. These same skills have been engrained in me through basketball, where I’ve also learned valuable time management skills. While playing basketball I've had to manage so many moving parts such as school, time, money, and workouts, this peaked my interest to get into management. I major in business management with a minor in entrepreneurship. I aspire to one day own a sports agency that helps athletes get the most out of their contracts. So far in my years at Auburn I’ve volunteered at "Our House" where I spent time using my public speaking and creativity skills to share my life experiences with kids and create a fun environment. I’ve also Volunteered at "The Empty Stalking Fund" where I set up appointments for families to come into the warehouse to pick up Christmas gifts, and learned how to operate an excel spreadsheet and provided excellent costumer service. While in high school I Volunteered at the Nike Eybl Peach Jam where worked on a team and learned how to manage time and job share by working 8 hour shifts handling basic player operations. Through all of my volunteer work in the Auburn Community, I was inducted into the SEC community service team I play on the Auburn men’s basketball team and have also learned to balance a positive work-life balance by being very involved in my community and working hard in the class room. I've been able to maintain a 3.8+ GPA while having 35+ hour basketball commitments weekly, this shows my hard work and dedication to be great. I value my faith in God most importantly, growth through experience, and perseverance. I’m looking forward to more opportunities of growth in the rest of my time at Auburn!
